“Thank you Alex for allowing use to stay in your cottage. It was truly a 5 Star stay. A well kitted out home with a modern smart home. From the Ninja Woodfire Grill to the Fireplace, it was a luxurious experience. Alex was always proactive, friendly and communicated efficiently and effectively. The cottage was exactly what we wanted and needed for a 2 night getaway from our busy life. Thank you Alex and Team Nook for hosting us.”

“The first time we have used air BnB and what a high standard that has been set !! The location is what you choose, but you never expect the property to be as is on the photos and let me tell you this was better than the photos!! “Booked this for our first family holiday with our newborn baby. It was absolutely perfect. We had a lovely relaxing stay and due to the amazing welcome hamper that was left, we did not need to leave the cottage all weekend. Loved how dog friendly it was too! Thank you!

“Perfect weekend stay at Muddy Paws Cottages! The Nook team are second to none, great communication from booking and throughout our stay, welcome baskets for humans and pups and birthday banners/signs. The Nook itself is beautiful and has everything you could need for a great stay, favourites were definitely the underfloor heating and the log fire! Sofas and beds both very comfortable, a must after a days hiking! Great location for both Buxton, Bakewell and the Monsal Trail! Thank you to the Nook team for a brilliant stay, I’m sure we will be back!”

“My best friend and I just had 2 amazing days at The Nook. This is our 4th time in the Dales and we will definitely book this house again. Location was perfect, house was perfect, safe and secure for dogs to wander outside. We did one of the local walks which was stunning. Popped into the pub which was cosy and friendly. The welcome hamper was a surprise and a lovely touch. Already planning a return for May!”

"We had a lovely 2 night stay - perfect size for 2 adults & our dog.Easy walk to the pub for a nice meal but also has great kitchen facilities to eat in. Really appreciated the hampers & milk already in the fridge. We visited Bakewell & did a 3.5 mile circular walk including a stop at Hassop station cafe on the Monsal trail which was gorgeous.Really dog friendly- loved the log burner. Highly recommend, thank you 😊"

"Myself, my mum and grandparents had a fab stay at the Nook over Christmas. The host was super lovely and communicated clearly, making check in and out smooth. They even left a welcome hamper that was very appreciated. The place itself is wonderful, very cosy, clean and in such a good location, close to Bakewell and Buxton. I would highly recommend staying here and will be to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
